A fairytale stay in a castle
Enchanting views greeted us each morning from our tower room. The intimate setting lent a personal touch, and the staff surprised us daily with thoughtful gifts. Dining was a delight, with local dishes served in a charming historic restaurant.
Although the lack of a nearby vibrant village made evening options limited, which felt slightly isolating. navigating around the castle could be challenging due to its historic design.

This castle venue is a gem with stunning views! The rooms are cosy and comfy, and the dining area is an impressive historic hall. Loved the lovely walking options nearby—just breathtaking!
The bar hours were a bit wonky—by the time I fancied a drink, it was already time for bed! You might need a map to find your way around that maze of a castle!

Staying in the tower room was enchanting, offering spectacular views that made mornings magical. The grilled meats served at dinner were succulent, and the service throughout was attentive. with the village being quiet and most places closed early, dining options beyond the hotel were limited. It was slightly disappointing that few staff spoke English, which made communication challenging at times.

Quiet paradise with stunning views
I really loved the peaceful vibe here! The scenery is out of this world, and we had a lovely time wandering around the area. Had an amazing in-room breakfast served on the balcony that just made our morning. Just wish the bar opened earlier in the evening, though. Really could've used a drink after our hikes!
